National HVAC Educators and Trainers Conference set for March in Las Vegas
HVAC Excellence announced that it will host the First Annual National HVAC Educators and Trainers Conference. This conference brings together the people from schools, manufacturing, distribution, and education administration who are involved in training the current and future workforce of the HVACR industry.
The conference is scheduled for March 26-27 2007 at the Circus Circus Casino and Resort in Las Vegas. Some of the featured speakers at the conference include: professor John Tomczyk of Ferris State University (coauthor of Refrigeration and Air
Conditioning Technology), Julius Banks, the program manager for refrigerants for the U.S. EPA, Betty Krump, the executive director of the American Technical Education Association, Steve Allen, the director of HVACR Recruitment & Education for the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, and Bob Dwyer, the director of Training for Bacharach Manufacturing (coauthor of Carbon Monoxide a Clear and Present Danger).
