GF Piping Systems has introduced the Type 514-519 High Flow Diaphragm Valve Series. The valves are designed to provide a true break-through for weir style valves. The valve features an optimized, turbulence-free flow geometry that offers significantly increased flow rate performance and lower energy consumption, according to the company. These features expand the valve’s suitability for applications where diaphragm valves were previously not considered due to flow restriction.
Camfil Air Pollution Control (APC) says its new HemiPleat® Synthetic dust collector filter combines a high-efficiency synthetic media with proprietary open-pleat technology for excellent performance and long life in harsh, humid environments. The washable media is resistant to moisture and can handle heavy dust loading conditions and/or hygroscopic or sticky dusts generated in food, pharmaceutical, and many other processes.
Camfil has released an entirely new filter technology for the efficient removal of both particulate and odors. Camfil City-Flo XL was engineered to meet the high air quality standards of today’s green buildings. It is ideal for use in offices, retail locations, the hospitality industry, schools, and other public facilities.
Many engineers tend to avoid or delegate the nitty gritty of a ground source heat pump system, from soil moisture effects to building system (im) balance. It's time for designers to get in the loop.
