SPX Cooling Technologies announced a redesign of its Marley AV line of factory-assembled single flow cooling towers. The new induced draft crossflow design features both single- and multi-fan models and a broader tonnage range from 122 to 772 nominal tons and flowrate of 117 to 1,541 gpm (27 to 350 m3/hr).The AV provides a compact footprint and is well-suited to support air conditioning and refrigeration systems as well as light industrial loads.
Daikin Applied has introduced new developments with its Magnitude® WME Generation 2 magnetic bearing chiller. Firmly grounded in Daikin’s oil-free, magnetic bearing compressor technology, the Magnitude® WME Generation 2 builds on its performance with a redesign of the single compressor WME models from 400 to nearly 800 tons. The company says the Magnitude WME Generation 2 offers improved performance (especially in harsher climates), lower operating costs, and improved first costs.
Heat Transfer Products Group, LLC (HTPG) has introduced the new Quantum Air Remote Air Cooled Condensers. Designed with California Title 24 regulatory compliance in mind, Quantum Air models are available with one to 14 fans, and with single- and double-fan width models in either vertical or horizontal air flow configurations.
Aqua Products Company, Inc has introduced new expandable sizes of its Build-A-Chiller models know as the Chiller-Pac (CP). CP Models are now expanded from 1 ton up to 50 ton. The models include a custom designed evaporator module with all refrigeration and electrical components needed to assemble a fully custom designed remote chiller built into a single cabinet. All that is needed to make a remote chiller is your air cooled or water cooled condensing unit, and a buffer tank and pump(s).
Marketair Inc. has introduced RoughinBox™, a plastic terminal box designed for expediting the rough-in of linesets, condensate hoses, and electrical/communication cabling for wall-mounted minisplit and VRF evaporator installation. According to the company, the RoughinBox reduces rough-in time by creating a central point with dedicated ports at which linesets, condensate hoses, and electrical/communication cabling can safely and easily terminate.
Greenheck says its new FumeJet pre-engineered, centrifugal fume exhaust packaged models offer extended discharge to reduce and prevent exposure to harmful fumes and odors outdoors. Designed per ANSI Z9.2 standard for local exhaust systems, Models FJC and FJI aim to provide a compact footprint with motors and drives located under a common weatherhood.
