Larson Electronics LLC has released a new explosion proof evaporative cooler. This explosion proof galvanized air chiller combines a non-sparking fan and dry mist technology to cool Class 1, Division 1 work areas that do not have access to traditional air conditioning.
Greenheck’s new Model APD plenum fan features a direct drive fan with the wheel connected to the motor shaft. With no fan shaft bearings or belts to maintain, the company says its Model APD eliminates the cost and maintenance associated with traditional belt drive plenum fans.
Sterling HVAC announced the commercialization of the Xcelon system, a rooftop make-up air unit that combines hydronic condensing boiler technology with advanced air distribution and heat recovery methods for levels of efficiency up to 98%. Conceptualized and developed by Sterling, the Xcelon’s engineering integrates hydronic technology, a new air distribution system, and an integrated control platform to produce ultra-high efficiencies.
Chromalox has introduced the 1/16 DIN single loop temperature and process controller. The Chromalox model 6060 controller offers such features as two PID sets, multiple inputs and outputs, heat/cool operation, soft start function, self-tuning startup, and optional Modbus/RTU RS485 communications.
