Avoiding the Pitfalls When Applying Chilled Beams

Since the emergence of chilled beams as a viable cooling device in the US Market, engineers have struggled to assemble the overall system of chilled beams and their associated primary air units. In a direct response to that need, SEMCO has created a tool that provides guidance and solutions to the pitfalls related to chilled beam design. The focus of this "selection software" is to define the necessary quantity of beams to satisfy adequate room coverage and maximize energy savings through reduced air flow. SEMCO has recognized the vast difference related to the US vs. European markets, and through its experience, has addressed specifically the humidity concerns of chilled beam applications..

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • What is the IQHC chilled Beam
  • Explaining SEMCO's IQHC Software
  • How to ensure quality in the wire harness assembly process.
    • Recommended basic criteria
    • Project specific data required from the designer
    • Best practices to determine the number of means per zone
    • Schedule generation
    • Zone manipulation
