Knowing the codes for your facility isn't enough. Opportunities abound to throw off your filtration system and overall performance, from trying to save a few bucks when buying replacement filters to not realizing the impact that installing higher efficiency filters can have on fans and motors. And did the original fan static calculation factor in clean filters, dirty, or somewhere in between? Get the original intent straight to keep things running clean.
Today, engineers, acting on the behalf of building owners, have a variety of choices when selecting hydronic heating boilers for their facilities. Choices for boilers include sectional cast iron; steel tube boilers, either firetube or watertube; copper finned-tube boilers; and condensing boilers. All of these various design types are used in projects today.
