The company says its CG gas boilers have the flexibility to be vented one of two ways: direct or non-direct. Direct-vent “sealed combustion” uses outside combustion air and this venting feature is designed to lower fuel bills by reducing air infiltration and problems caused by indoor air contaminants, says the company. The CGs can also be non-direct vented through a sidewall using inside combustion air. Standard features include high-grade stainless steel burners, a company-designed control module and ignition control, and modern elastomer sealing rings.
