The UniGas 3000 is a compact, palm-held flue gas analyzer designed to permit combustion analysis, boiler tuning, emissions monitoring, and auxiliary test and inspections, says the company. Two electrochemical sensors are designed to read the oxygen and carbon monoxide concentrations. These values, combined with the flue gas and combustion air temperatures, are used to calculate the efficiency, excess air, and CO2. Natural gas, LPG, gasoil, and kerosene are the four most common fuels to be measured, yet six more fuels can be programmed to be measured by the user. A third sensor is used to measure the pollutant NO, NO2, or SO2 as may be required.
