The newly-released fxManager Automation Management System (AMS) Version 1.20, features a new html graphical interface capability that allows users to access programs and applications used throughout a plant by clicking on customized graphical representations of their locations. The system is designed to provide complete management for automation systems software and functions as a client-server system with version control, audit trail, security, and scheduling capabilities. Other new features include new and enhanced support for additional software and hardware products from several companies. According to the manufacturer, the software supplies all the analysis and reporting tools required to meet validation or quality system requirements and is designed to optimize engineering practices throughout system life cycles.
