Greenheck’s new ceiling exhaust fan Models SP-80 and SP-110 feature energy efficient EC motor technology. According to the company, they have been designed for nearly silent operation. An adjustable low-cfm setting allows precise adjustment to prevent over-ventilating and maximize efficiency, while an adjustable time delay sets how long the fan will run on high speed before returning to a continuous lower speed.

Flomatic Corp. introduced its new Model 80DICL-VFD, a special patent-pending submersible pump check valve for use with VFD control submersible pumps. According to the company, standard check valves will “chatter” and be noisy when a VFD goes to low flow, causing premature wear and eventual failure.

Low-water cutoff controls: Gems Sensors & Controls

Gems Sensors & Controls has introduced a new line of compact low-water cutoff devices to provide critical protection for boilers and steam generators. The new LWC-700/720/800 Series offer a variety of configurations and functions for application in most water feed vessels. They feature redundant switches within the liquid level sensors, and electronic controllers to deactivate systems before a water supply problem can damage or create a critical situation in boiler or steam generation equipment. They meet CSD1 requirements and are UL Recognized per UL-353 for “Limit Control.”

The Serco Advanced Technology for Environmental Control HVLS fan, or the ATEC HVLS fan, features an optimized five-blade profile, which translates to more airflow while conserving energy. The ATEC’s refined airfoil shape results in less drag, which in turn, equates to greater circulation and employee comfort.
