Managing 330 million sq ft of space means you can't afford to blow off smart ventilation strategy. Thus, the government commissioned a consulting firm to evaluate the systems of five facilities in different regions. After looking at everything from AHUs and motors to economizers, controls, and ductwork, the engineers concluded that decentralizing the air-handling system paid off for multiple reasons. By David P.
