The National Institute of Building Sciences(NIBS) (Washington) elected three members to its board of directors. They are: George Capko, Jr., P.E., vice president and manager of the standards division for Factory Mutual Global in MA; Paul Lynch, assistant commissioner for business performance for the General Services Administration’s Public Buildings Services; and Dan E. Hanlon, P.E., director of engineering, Office of the Architect of the Capital.

Re-elected to three-year terms on the NIBS board were Henry Green, executive director of the Bureau of Construction Codes, State of Michigan, and a founding member of the board of the International Code Council; and James R. Irvine, president of The Conifer Group and former president of the National Association of Home Builders.
