Grundfos is expanding its line of energy-efficient ALPHA circulator pumps with the variable-speed ALPHA1, which the company says has a duty range that can replace every single-speed and 3-speed circulator in its class. The LED display ensures the ALPHA1 is delivering the optimal hydronic heating and/or hot-water recirculation flow rate at the lowest possible energy consumption.
Geoclima has launched its Circlemiser, a new series of high-efficiency air cooled chillers. The company says the new Circlemiser series is characterized by high-performance and efficiency levels, with an increase in EER up to 15%, improving the efficiency already provided by Turbomiser, designed by Geoclima.
Danfoss has released its new RX1200 controller for electric de-icing applications. Designed to complement Danfoss RX de-icing cables for roof and gutter applications, the RX1200 controller helps to extend the life of an outdoor electric heating system and prevent damage and leaks. By sensing both moisture and temperature conditions, the company says the RX1200 can activate or de-activate the cables as needed, reducing energy consumption by up to 75% compared to a controller that measures temperature alone.
Nortek Global HVAC introduced a new line of highly-configurable Reznor® light commercial packaged rooftops. They are available in 6, 7.5 and 10 tons. The company says the rooftop units can be configured at the factory so consultant engineers or design-build contractors can get the exact spec unit they need delivered to the job site. With over 35 options per tonnage size, there are over 750,000 unit configurations available. A quick-ship option is available out of the factory in Dyersburg, Tenn.

Ranging from 1hp to 10hp, company officials said the new line of Tango pumps is a completely integrated offering designed to further reduce first installed costs as well as ongoing lifetime costs by more than 30% over traditional approaches.
SPX Cooling Technologies announced an expansion of its Marley MD line of factory-assembled counterflow cooling towers. The company says the towers require less plan area and offer greater site placement flexibility. New to the MD line is model 5017, a 12-ft by 14-ft box size offering 324 to 554 nominal tons of cooling per cell.
Bosch Thermotechnology Corp. has developed a new line of tankless gas condensing water heaters. The Bosch Greentherm 9000 Series offers nine models for high-efficiency domestic hot water in residential or commercial applications.
