Schebler says its Sequence Draft Control™ (SDC) design service offers boiler and hot water heater manufacturers a complete engineered venting system. SDC is capable of maintaining the desired condensing dew point of combustion, preventing excess draft which impacts efficiency and fuel/air ratio’s – especially with high turndown modulating burners.
According to Ashcroft officials, it only takes a small formation of ice deep inside the inlet cavity of a pressure transducer to destroy the sensing element. To prevent this, Ashcroft engineers have developed a unique media isolation method for the G2, T2, and KM15 pressure transducers.
The new SIL 3 capable Ashcroft® A-Series miniature pressure switch is now available in an explosion- proof configuration for hazardous areas. With 316 stainless steel construction, an IP67 rated enclosure, and an operating temperature range from -40°F to 192°F, the rugged dual-seal rated A-Series explosion-proof pressure switch stands up to the most extreme environmental conditions.
A selection of Vari-Green® controls is available from Greenheck. The controls maximize the energy efficiency of ventilation systems in a variety of applications when used in conjunction with Greenheck’s Vari-Green motor.
Many engineers tend to avoid or delegate the nitty gritty of a ground source heat pump system, from soil moisture effects to building system (im) balance. It's time for designers to get in the loop.
