Gems Sensors & Controls has introduced a new line of compact low-water cutoff devices to provide critical protection for boilers and steam generators. The new LWC-700/720/800 Series offer a variety of configurations and functions for application in most water feed vessels. They feature redundant switches within the liquid level sensors, and electronic controllers to deactivate systems before a water supply problem can damage or create a critical situation in boiler or steam generation equipment. They meet CSD1 requirements and are UL Recognized per UL-353 for “Limit Control.”
SOR Controls Group has purchased Smart Sensors Inc. (SSi).
The company’s DS1 Current Sensors are designed to detect very low DC current levels.
Vaisala has added a new seminar to its Humidity seminar series. "Monitoring & Mapping cGMP environments" was created to help GxP-compliant facilities reduce the risk of deviations being observed during audits and inspections. The new seminar reviews the relevant GMP regulations and guidances around temperature and humidity mapping and monitoring and includes a workshop where participants will get hands-on experience of temperature and humidity validation by Vaisala's experienced validation expert, Paul Daniel.
Control Company’s inexpensive Liquid Alarm may be placed anywhere. Use it to detect when drums, tanks, flasks, or beakers are close to overfilling. It’s the perfect reminder for unattended filling of any container. The moment a solution touches the sensor, the alarm sounds and a red LED light flashes continually until the liquid no longer touches the sensor.
