Trane announced the availability of its XR16 low profile side discharge air conditioning unit for split ducted systems. This high-performance, low-profile unit features a side discharge, making it ideal for difficult-to-install applications or in tight space requirements where vertical discharge units prove less than optimal.

The XAV-545 is FEMA 320 or FEMA 361 rated for storm shelters and safe rooms. It is AMCA certified and can withstand design loads of 300 psf produced by extreme wind phenomena. The XAV-545 has a free area of 49%.

Kohler Power Systems has completed its first industrial standby diesel generator line powered by a Kohler engine. The fully-integrated Kohler product line utilizes Kohler’s Direct Injection (KDI) diesel engines and includes both Tier 3 and Tier 4 Final models ranging from 15 kW to 60 kW.
