The P4000 pressure sensor from Kavlico (Moorpark, CA) is now available in a smaller, more compact design for increased mounting flexibility. The sensor incorporates MEMS technology into an all-welded, stainless steel package capable of surviving continued exposure in the harshest of environments, says the manufacturer. The company says it is ideal for refrigerant applications as well as other hydraulic applications. The unit is designed to have high overpressure capability and to withstand the pressure fluctuations and vibrations of hydraulic equipment.
