The company says its P4000 pressure transducer for refrigeration pressure applications may be specified with a Shrader depressor fitting “for quick connection and installation.” This sensor incorporates MEMS (silicon-micromachined) sensing technology in an all-welded stainless steel design for compatibility with all HFC and HCFC refrigerants and ammonia, says the company. The sensor design also features a stainless steel isolation diaphragm for increased corrosion resistance in hostile environmental situations. The P4000 can be used to monitor high- and low-side pressures in microprocessor-based control systems and for refrigerant handling and recovery, it says.
