The award recognizes an individual for outstanding contributions through service, innovation, research, safety, and outstanding projects of scientific and technological importance affecting the growth and well-being of the ground water industry.

Grundfos Pumps, Corp.’s group chairman, Niels Due Jensen, was awarded the Equipment Design Award from the National Ground Water Association  for the company’s SmartFlo™ SQ and SQE pump systems.

The Equipment Design Award recognizes an individual for outstanding contributions through service, innovation, research, safety, and outstanding projects of scientific and technological importance affecting the growth and well-being of the ground water industry. NGWA is a nonprofit organization comprised of more than 14,000 U.S. and international ground water professionals - contractors, scientists, engineers, equipment manufacturers and suppliers. The organization provides guidance to members, government representatives, and the public for scientific, economic, and beneficial development, protection, and management of the world’s ground water resources.
