The 16th National Conference on Building Commissioning will be held April 22 – 24, 2008 in Newport Beach, CA. Every year the National Conference on Building Commissioning brings together the commissioning industry. From leading experts to newcomers, NCBC provides a forum for the commissioning industry to discuss the most recent trends and developments.

Building owners and facility managers will learn how commissioning helps advance sustainable building and energy efficiency. Architects will discover new tools and services that can help them meet their green building goals, including achieving LEED® certification and minimizing a building’s carbon footprint. Commissioning Providers and engineers will meet representatives from tools and technologies companies, network with potential clients, and learn how they can contribute to a more sustainable future. Tool and technology manufacturers will meet the professionals who depend on their products to successfully complete projects and satisfy client needs.

The event, sponsored by the Portland Energy Conservation, Inc., features presentations on subjects such as: “Cx on Paper: Scoping & Specifying Work;” “Why RCx? An Owner’s Perspective;”  “Making Benefits Last: Persistence Strategies & Ongoing Monitoring;” “HVAC Control Strategies;” and much more.
