Carrier Corp. and Purafil announced an agreement for Carrier to market Purafil’s commercial filtration products in North America. Through the agreement, Carrier says it becomes the first major manufacturer of commercial hvac systems “to offer a full range of gas-phase filtration products specifically designed to improve indoor air quality.” Carrier says it is packaging Purafil filter sets as kits to permit easy installation in new and existing rooftop units, air-handling equipment, energy-recovery ventilators, and unit ventilators without any design or hardware changes. It says customers will now be able to obtain Purafil replacement products through Carrier service programs and Carrier’s network of Totaline parts stores, as well as through Purafil’s existing representative network. — Carrier Corp. and Purafil, Inc.
