The company says its LoSone Select ventilation line is a complete overhaul of its original line of specification-grade ventilators introduced more than 25 years ago. The new, 100-cfm unit registers 0.5 AMCA sones, compared to its predecessor that registered 2.7 to 2.9 AMCA sones. The company says its units register from 100 through 1,500 cfm and are quieter than their competitive equivalents. Each model is engineered with balanced blower wheels, and most are lined with sound-absorbing acoustic insulation to further reduce noise.
