Seresco USA Inc. presented Texas AirSystems of Dallas with its 2016 Rep of the Year Award for the U.S. The award was presented Jan. 30 at the 2017 AHR Expo in Las Vegas.

Texas AirSystems was one of five manufacturer’s representatives to surpass $1 million in Seresco equipment sales along with Hahn-Mason Air Systems Inc. (HMI) in Charlotte, NC; Thermal Mechanics Inc. in Chesterfield, MO; and two Canadian firms, Kilmer Environmental in Mississauga, Ontario; and Qualite Air Totale (QAT) in Laval, Quebec.

Texas AirSystems, which has represented Seresco for 11 years, had several high-profile projects including a Seresco Protocol dehumidifier, which surpasses its predecessor's size in order to handle a water slide and lazy water feature in the renovated Carpenter Park Recreation Center in Plano, TX. Texas AirSystems also provided Seresco mechanical dehumidification equipment for severa lGold’s Gym locations, and Southern Methodist University in Dallas, which was designed by ME Engineers in Dallas, with two NP-080 Protocol dehumidifiers.

Texas AirSystems' largest project was the retrofit at Palo Alto College Aquatic Center (PAC) in San Antonio, which is one of three cities in the 39-year-old rep firm's territory that includes Austin and the Dallas-Fort Worth area. PAC's natatorium is one of the largest natatoriums in North America and the retrofit's consulting engineering firm, O'Connell Robertson, specified four Seresco Protocol NP-064-ton dehumidifiers. Texas AirSystems also sold Seresco dehumidifiers for numerous senior living, private fitness clubs, community recreation, armed services facility, YMCA and therapy pools last year.

“Texas AirSystems is a very self-motivated, positively aggressive rep firms, which is exceptional for an organization with more than 80 sales engineers on staff,” said Eric Johnson, regional sales manager of Seresco.
