NexRev Inc., a manufacturer of performance-improving energy efficiency upgrades for HVAC equipment, announced the appointment of two key officers to vice president. Rodney D. Anthony, director of engineering, is now vice president of business development, overseeing sales and marketing efforts and product development. Josh Riddle, director of operations, is now vice president of operations managing all aspects of manufacturing, application engineering, supply chain, training, and support functions.

The company says these personnel changes lay the groundwork for the introduction of new product lines and energy efficiency solutions as well as the creation of new business models to support subsequent market expansion.

Anthony is a registered professional engineer with more than 30 years of experience in mechanical and control system design with a focus on building automation and energy management strategies. As director of engineering for NexRev, Anthony was responsible for the evolution of the DrivePak solution with the introduction of DrivePak ARC (Advanced Rooftop Control) and DrivePak Applied, expanding the variable frequency drive retrofit to a broader range of HVAC applications and applicable markets. Anthony was previously with Texas Air Systems and Storer Equipment Company where he was a sales engineer and lead building automation and control systems architect for commercial, educational, and institutional facilities. Anthony received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA in Engineering Management from the University of Dallas.

Riddle has an extensive history with NexRev beginning in 1995 as project manager overseeing multiple nationwide deployments. The company says his 20-plus years of experience in operations management in the construction and manufacturing industry gives him an acute insight into all facets of the company’s business operations. In previous roles with the company, Riddle was an instrumental figure in the development and market deployment of both the DrivePak retrofit and Freedom Energy Management System solution sets. As director of operations, Riddle was responsible for overall fiscal and operational performance having established numerous company-wide initiatives for efficient production and fabrication procedures, which are still in practice today.

“NexRev is gearing up for many positive changes, and Rod Anthony’s and Josh Riddle’s appointments reflect a tremendous trust and confidence in their ability to lead the company on a successful path,” said Kenneth Smith, NexRev CEO. “Both have deep industry expertise, and their tenure will ensure NexRev continues to meet the needs of our nationwide customer base.”
