Trane plans to educate health care leaders about energy efficient solutions and new product offerings at the annual conference of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering. The conference will take place Aug. 3-6, at McCormick Place, Lakeside Center in Chicago.

Trane will highlight its products for the healthcare market, including a new  Performance Climate Changer, Trane Wireless Comm, and a new partnership with Fellon-McCord. Trane will beat  conference booth no. 500.

According to Trane officials, the Performance Climate Changer™ air handlers are a new, economical model to its Performance Climate Changer™ air handler portfolio, designed to deliver improved efficiency, indoor air quality, and occupant comfort to serve a wider variety of applications and customers.

The Trane air handlers aim to optimize energy conservation and deliver efficiency to the entire HVAC system. Unit features are designed to surpass ASHRAE 90.1 standards and provide the flexibility to tailor air handler selection to specific application requirements while staying within customers’ budgets.

The company also said the Trane Wireless Comm simplifies building projects by minimizing the labor, engineering, estimating, and project management tasks associated with communication link and zone sensor wiring. It can simplify problem solving on new buildings, controls upgrades, and building expansion projects.

Fellon-McCord, a new Trane affiliate in global energy management and sourcing solutions, has more than 20 years of experience serving commercial, industrial, institutional, and government customers. Their energy supply procurement and management services expand Trane capabilities for supply-side energy management.
