Greenheck has announced plans to establish two new campus facilities in Schofield, WI, the Robert C. Greenheck Innovation Center and the Bernard A. Greenheck Education Center. The company says the facilities will honor its founders, Bob and Bernie Greenheck.

“These facilities will recognize the Greenheck brothers’ vision, determination, and sound, admirable business values forming the foundation for our phenomenal worldwide growth as a leader in the non-residential air movement and control industry. We are proud to call Schofield our home and are thrilled to honor our founders with these world-class facilities in this community,” said Jim McIntyre, president and CEO of the Greenheck Group.

According to McIntyre, the new facilities will improve Greenheck operations.

“The magnificent new, 69,000 sq ft research and development facility, the Robert C. Greenheck Innovation Center, will raise even higher the level of innovation for which Greenheck is known,” he said. “It will also improve collaboration among our manufacturing, engineering, marketing, sourcing, logistics, testing, and machine development disciplines and business units. This strategic investment reflects Bob’s well-known, lifelong drive to invent market-leading products and high quality, efficient manufacturing processes.”

Construction of the innovation center will begin this fall and feature state-of-the-art sound and psychrometric labs, product prototyping, dedicated space for developing and fine-tuning manufacturing processes, office space to support employee growth, and additional meeting and training space.

When completed in late 2015 or early 2016, company officials believe the facility will provide the Greenheck Group with state-of-the-art testing capabilities for air movement and control products of nearly all sizes.

The Bernard A. Greenheck Education Center will incorporate the Greenheck Product Center, which opened in 1996. This past year, nearly 2,000 guests from around the world visited the 27,500-sq-ft facility, which showcases more than 100 Greenheck products. This facility is also an educational training site for customers and business partners and provides opportunities to learn more about Greenheck’s products and applications, and to interact directly with Greenheck team members. Visitors can discuss Greenheck’s total campus operations, from engineering and product development to manufacturing and shipping.

“Over the past year, the product center lobby, offices, training center, food service area, and hospitality area underwent major updating,” said Tim Kilgore, president of sales and marketing of Greenheck Fan. “The product display area is scheduled for a complete renovation during the coming winter. This project will enhance customer focus on quality Greenheck products having a strong emphasis on value, efficiency, and ease of installation. The product area will display our current, expanded product and equipment offerings, include more working interactive demos, and will offer additional meeting presentation areas to accommodate visiting customers.”

The renovation is scheduled for completion in winter 2015.
