ABB’s Automation and Power World (APW) has announced a new online education series. The first SmartStream Digital Conference, “Optimizing technology for the changing face of industry,” will take place June 4 at 11 a.m. EDT. The conference will grant exclusive access to ABB’s global experts and will be presented in a virtual format making it available around the world in real time.

According to the company, participation in the live online conference will provide networking opportunities with ABB experts and industry peers, as well as an opportunity to earn professional development hours (PDHs).

All sessions will be archived and available for on-demand viewing. If you are unable to attend all the sessions of interest to you on the live event date, or are unable to attend the live event, you can still access the educational content.

Registration is no-cost for industry professionals. APW will engage audiences and facilitate conversations about the evolution and future of the industry. The company will provide online newscasts and provide a glimpse into what is happening within the industry, allowing users to ask questions and interact with ABB experts live.

June’s event will focus on automation, with a second virtual APW scheduled for October on power. For more information about the APW virtual conference on June 4, including newscast schedules, visit http://new.abb.com/apw/smartstream.
