In an effort to support its commercial PEX piping business, Uponor North America products are now available in the Trimble® PipeDesigner 3-D® software manufacturer database for plumbing and radiant heating and cooling systems. A link to the Uponor Product Library in Trimble PipeDesigner 3-D is available on Uponorpro.com under Technical Support/Downloads.

“With the momentum in our commercial business continuing to increase, we are consistently striving for ways to make it easier for our customers to do business with us,” said Chris Moore, vice president of information technology at Uponor. “Adding our products to the Trimble PipeDesigner 3-D database provides a single source for professionals looking to prefabricate and design Uponor commercial PEX piping systems for use in plumbing and radiant heating and cooling applications.”

Trimble PipeDesigner 3-D is a single detailing solution for mechanical, piping, and plumbing contractors familiar with the AutoCAD® platform. It features the ability to auto-route for a single line, Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) export for project model coordination, and field point export to the Trimble Field Link for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction layout.
