Harsco Industrial Patterson-Kelley has launched the new P-K SONIC™ Commercial Stainless Boiler with DUET™ technology. The company claims the P-K SONIC™ boiler is the first practical stainless steel design for condensing applications in the industry. This concept allows each section of the engine to be engineered independently using different composite stainless materials to deliver better heat transfer and higher reliability through the condensing process. This design allows the P-K SONIC™ boiler to operate at 96% efficiency with a 5:1 turndown and ultra-low emissions. The company also said that the boilers are up to 60% smaller than other brands with no rigging required, making it easier to replace current boilers.
