Veris Industries has introduced the E5xxxA Series to its line of power and energy meters. The company says the series combines the metering performance expected from the traditional E5x family with the addition of a built-in integrator and power supply for the needed rope style CTs. The E5xxxA devices work exclusively with Veris’ U018 Series rope CTs for quick installation. The U018 Series Rope CTs fit an array of applications with a wide measurement range of 20A to 5000A. For added flexibility the coil opens at the connector junction for easy installation onto an existing cable or buss-bar. The meter provides an integrated solution with versatile protocol options including BACnet, Modbus, LON, or Pulse, as well as data logging and bi-directional capabilities.
