The new SIL 3 capable Ashcroft® A-Series miniature pressure switch is now available in an explosion- proof configuration for hazardous areas. With 316 stainless steel construction, an IP67 rated enclosure, and an operating temperature range from -40°F to 192°F, the rugged dual-seal rated A-Series explosion-proof pressure switch stands up to the most extreme environmental conditions. To ensure compliance to regional codes for explosion-proof devices, the A-Series explosion-proof switch has received agency approvals and certifications from FM, UL, ATEX, IECEx, CSA and CRN. In addition to SIL 3 capability, it also conforms to CE and RoHS requirements. Pressure ranges from vacuum through 7,500 psi are complimented with a broad selection of pressure inlet fittings. Additionally, the switch may be ordered with a fixed factory setpoint or in an alternate version that allows it to be adjusted in the field.
