Robert Linder, president-elect for the National Environmental Balancing Bureau, was awarded ASHRAE’s Distinguished Service Award. The award was presented June 22 at ASHRAE’s annual conference in Denver.

According to ASHRAE, the award recognizes members who have served the organization faithfully and with distinction on committees or otherwise given freely of their time and talent on behalf of ASHRAE. Linder has been a member since 1995, and has served on local, regional, and society level committees. Most recently, he was director and regional chair for Region VI. In this role he served on the society board of directors and as the chair of his region’s Chapters’ Regional Committee.
