Emerson Climate Technologies will host its “Making Sense” webinar series. The webinars are aimed at educating attendees about new HVAC technologies, regulations, and environmental updates.

“Increasing focus on energy efficient equipment, ongoing government regulation, and the movement toward environmentally friendly systems are creating changes to our industry at an unprecedented pace. It is important to us that we do our part in educating and keeping the industry up to speed on these changes,” said Rajan Rajendran, Ph.D., vice president of engineering services and sustainability for Emerson Climate Technologies.

The initial webinar in the Making Sense series, “Compressor Selection for Refrigeration Equipment: Mid-Point vs. Dew Point,” is scheduled for 2 p.m. EDT/11 a.m. PDT on July 16. Attendees of this complimentary webinar will learn the difference between mid-point and dew point, how to take advantage of refrigerant glide with heat exchanger design, how to select the right compressor, and how to commission and charge a system using refrigerants with glide.

The next webinars will include “Energy Savings Through Low Condensing Implementation” on Aug. 20, and “Using Compressor Electronics Data” on Sept. 17.
