Bosch is offering two new models of condensing gas-fired tankless water heaters for domestic hot water on demand applications. The Greentherm C 1050 ES and C 950 ES are both Energy Star® rated models featuring condensing technology for up to 10% improved energy efficiency over non-condensing models, with an energy factor up to 0.94. They are also equipped with an automated and fully modulating bypass, which the company says provides unsurpassed temperature stability. For commercial applications, Bosch has its high performance Therm C 1210 ESC tankless water heater providing up to 98% thermal efficiency. The gas-fired, condensing Bosch Therm C 1210 can be cascaded using up to 24 units to satisfy requirements up to 240 gallons per minute for jobs such as tank loading, solar thermal recirculation, radiant floor, and space heating applications.
