Bry-Air announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted the company a patent for its BrySmart energy management system.

“This technology sets a new benchmark for energy efficient desiccant dehumidifiers by optimizing system performance during part load conditions.  The system comes standard in our competitively priced EcoDry product line,” said Doug Howery, vice president of sales and marketing for Bry-Air.

Howery added that the demand for the product has steadily increased as more and more industrial customers have committed to significantly reducing their energy usage and cost.

The company’s BrySmart EMS technology is available on the company’s EcoDry™ desiccant dehumidifier. This newly patented microprocessor-based system uses dynamic control of dehumidifier operating parameters to dramatically improve part-load energy efficiency. Proprietary control algorithms dynamically and simultaneously control reactivation airflow, energy, and rotor speed.
