Caleffi 546 Series Brass DISCALDIRT® air and dirt separators are used to continuously remove air and debris contained in hydronic heating and cooling systems. The devices automatically remove air present in the system down to the micro-bubble level. They also separate any solid impurities in the system. Impurities collect at the bottom of the device and are removed through the drain shut-off cock. 

The circulation of fully de-aerated and cleaned water enables equipment to operate under optimum conditions, free from noise, corrosion, or mechanical damage. Available in ¾-, 1-, or 1¼-in. sweat and NPT connections.
