Michael Albertson brings an extensive background in the design and installation of commercial, institutional, and industrial geothermal projects.

WaterFurnace International, Inc. announced that Michael Albertson joined the company as vice president of commercial marketing and sales.

“We’re delighted to bring Michael Albertson to WaterFurnace at a time when our commercial business is poised for significant growth. Michael is well known in the industry. He also brings an extensive background in the design and installation of commercial, institutional, and industrial geothermal projects and the related control systems for those projects,” noted Bruce Ritchey, WaterFurnace president and chief executive officer.

Albertson is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. He co-authored the first commercially available software for the geothermal industry to include design and economic analyses, and owned and operated a contracting company, which designed and installed geothermal systems nationwide and abroad for more than 10 years. Albertson also served for more than 11 years as director of commercial geothermal sales and national accounts manager for a major manufacturer of water source and geothermal heat pumps.
