Meats has over 25 years of experience in the HVAC industry which includes eight years working as a consulting engineer designing electrical, mechanical, structural, and plumbing systems.

Metal Industries announced that Jim Meats joined the company as vice president of engineering. Meats has over 25 years of experience in the HVAC industry which includes eight years working as a consulting engineer designing electrical, mechanical, structural, and plumbing systems.

Within the HVAC manufacturing field, Meats has held the positions of product manager for the Ruskin Company, director of engineering for the Loren Cook Fan Company, VP of engineering for Lau Industries, and VP of operations for Lau Industries.  He is a graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering, and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
