The United States Green Building Councilis the latest association to endorse the2005 AHR Expo,February 7-9 in Orlando, FL. The association joins a list of 20 other endorsing associations that have already lent their support to the leading exposition in the HVACR industry.

As the leading organization representing the industry on environmental building matters, the USGBC endorsement of the 2005 AHR Expo provides a valuable opportunity for exhibitors and attendees. "We are very excited about the council's endorsement of the 2005 AHR Expo, and are pleased to provide this year's expo participants direct access to the government body that has begun transforming the building industry toward a more environmentally conscious one," said Clay Stevens, president of International Exposition Company (IEC), producers and managers of the AHR Expo.

Equally encouraged by their participation in the 2005 Expo, Taryn Holowka, spokeswoman for the USGBC added, "We value the great opportunity this event offers us as an organization." The USGBC, which will have an exhibit at the expo and provide green-building educational sessions for attendees, recognizes the event as a prime platform from which to gain mass industry exposure. "The high visibility of the expo is a great opportunity for us to educate leaders across the HVACR industry about the benefits of constructing sustainable, environmentally responsible buildings, which serve us all."

The USGBC joins a highly diverse group of endorsing associations that will bring many different segments of the industry together in what is expected to be one the largest events in the 75-year history of the exposition. According to show management, more than 1,600 companies have already reserved over 356,000 net sq ft of exhibit space.
