The International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration(IIAR) is the 19th association to endorse the2005 AHR Expo, February 7-9 in Orlando. IIAR joins 18 leading industry organizations in providing their members with special opportunities at the world's leading HVACR exposition.

IIAR, with more than 1,400 members, is known as the authoritative source of information on ammonia refrigeration worldwide. For more than three decades, IIAR members have been sharing their knowledge and experience of ammonia refrigeration with contractors, equipment manufacturers, and endusers.

As an endorsing association of the AHR Expo, IIAR will host a booth on the show floor where they will educate attendees on the application of ammonia as a refrigerant and how its many uses are incorporated into the modern lifestyle. "Exhibiting at the AHR Expo offers a great opportunity to demonstrate the importance of ammonia in the world of refrigeration," said Kent Anderson, president of IIAR, "We look forward to discussing its many advantages, such as efficiency and cost effectiveness, as well as its environmental friendliness."

IIAR will join a highly diverse group of endorsing associations that will bring many different segments of the industry together in what is expected to be one the largest events in the 75-year history of the exposition. According to show management, 1,400 companies have already reserved more than 321,000 net sq ft of exhibit space. The event is co-sponsored by the ASHRAE and ARI. The Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) is an honorary sponsor. For more information visit www.ahrexpo.com.
