The company recently introduced its Strantrol® 887 high resolution Redox® (HRR) monitor and control system. The 887 is designed to improve disinfection monitoring and control in industrial process and cooling water applications. According to the company, the unit operates with little or no user attention. It says the operator simply keys in the preferred setpoints and the unit automatically modulates the feed of chemical oxidant (chlorine, bromine, and other oxidants) 24 hours a day. The 887 also features three programmable relays that can be configured in any combination for chemical control, alarm, sensor wash, or triggered timer function.
