ToughGard™ duct liner with enhanced surface is designed with a new surface coating with enhanced moisture-repellent properties. It is designed to provide optimum acoustical performance and to repel moisture. Unlike reflective, continuous film coatings, the “breathable” enhanced surface coating is designed to preserve the sound-dampening performance of the duct liner by allowing sound waves to pass through the open-cell structure and into the sound-absorbing glass fiber mat. With an EPA-registered anti-microbial, this duct liner will also reduce the opportunity for the growth of mold, says the company.
