Dwyer Instruments, Inc. (Michigan City, IN) says its Series PFS smart air velocity transmitter, designed to be able to withstand gas pressures up to 10 bar (150 psig), measures and transmits mass flow rate of air, nitrogen, or other non-combustible gases with ±1% accuracy, ±2% repeatability, and a response time of 0.1 sec. Other features of this instrument include adjustable high and low alarm outputs and adjustable time response. All parameters can be programmed with three pushbuttons or with Windows(r) 95-based software, sold separately. Available in six models, covering six flow ranges, three models have a built-in display for viewing flow rate and total flow, says the company.
