The company says its AFD Aerofans provide a novel approach to ducted or plenum-mounted air-moving applications. This compact line of fans includes 7 sizes from 12-in. (305mm) through 27-in. (686mm), designed to deliver up to 11,000 cfm (5,200 1/s) at up to 2.5-in. (64mm) wg. Adjustable pitch propellers are available with 5 or 10 blades for low- or high-pressure applications. Each utilize a cast aluminum hub with choice of aluminum- or glass-reinforced polypropylene blades, says the company. The motor mount accommodates motors up to 3 hp, and is constructed from cast aluminum. The integral safety guard permits motor wiring without guard removal.
