TURBOfog™ is a fogging system that is designed to lower the temperature of turbine inlet air naturally, providing the turbine with denser, cool air which gives a higher mass flow rate and pressure ratio, according to the manufacturer. The system uses a series of pumps and nozzles to atomize water into small droplets and distribute them in the inlet air stream where they evaporate, cooling the air.
