The company says its VentCal™ 100 utilizes a hand-held computer for the display, calculation, and datalogging of air ventilation and other parameters. By measuring CO2 as it is injected into a ventilation zone, then as it disperses, the VentCal 100 uses tracer decay protocol to calculate the outdoor air ventilation rate per sq ft, per occupant, or air changes per hr, says the company. A telecoping hotwire anemometer is also available to directly measure airflow into the monitored zone.
