The company now offers a new line of large frame ac motors. A number of features have been engineered into the motors to provide exceptionally long life, says the company. These motors are NEMA Frame 500 and larger, with ranges of 150 hp to 800 hp. All low-voltage versions (less than 600 volts) come with Class H insulation systems as a standard feature, new for the company. It says Class H insulation provides at least a 25°C temperature cushion at service factor load, which it says is an improvement over the industry-standard Class F insulation.
