The company says its new Luxaire® DL/DU Series rooftop equipment is available in 6.5-, 7.5-, 8.5-, 10-, and 12.5-ton capacities. These rooftop units are available in the following configurations: cooling only; cooling with electric heat; and cooling with gas heat and heat pump. According to the manufacturer, all gas/electric units perform in two-stage heating operation, 60% heating capacity at first stage, with an additional 40% at second stage. The DL/DU Series units feature two compressors with independent refrigeration circuits that are charged with HCFC-22. Due to a single footprint design, the equipment is designed for commercial applications and can be installed on a roof curb, slab roof rack, or frame.
