Welders can learn new skills through two new, interactive training CD-ROMs: “TIG Fundamentals,” and “MIG Fundamentals.” Both are designed to teach in-depth process theory, applications, and electrical theory in a way that decreases the amount of time needed to learn new information and concepts, increases the amount of knowledge gained, and saves the students money. The training disks work to enhance on-site training by providing students with knowledge that prepares them for, and makes better use of, face-to-face workshops and actual welding practice.
