The company says its commercial water heaters now feature the addition of a full-port, full-flow drain valve. The quarter-turn full flow ball valve is designed to allow the water heater tank to drain at the speed of a full 3/4-in. line, which can be as much as 10 times faster than standard drain valves, it says. The drain valve is constructed of solid brass and incorporates a continuous, one-piece design. According to the company, the one-piece design increases reliability by reducing the number of connections, thus eliminating potential leak points.
